 Mike Wunsch 

Mike was born in Spokane and after infancy in the great city of Milan Washington, moved back into Spokane where he has resided pretty much since then.  

Mike is a graduate of Eastern Washington University and a 30 year veteran of the Washington State Patrol.  During that time he also served in the Air Force Reserves for 24 years as a special agent in the Office of Special Investigations.  After the State patrol he was a fraud investigator for the State of Washington and still works part time as a background investigator for the U.S. State Department. 

 He has lived in SCG since 2007.

 Mike has been an integral part of our softball club since starting in the blue league in 2008.      He has volunteered for many positions, including field maintenance, announcing, managing, and pretty much anything that needed doing, Mike has always been there to lend a hand.  Most notably a 5 year stint as Chair of the Rating Committee.  I would wager to say there are many people here today who’s first contact with the club was Mike. 

He has been such an ambassador for the club and helped lots of folks get started in our great organization.  His willingness to get people assigned in time for league play, make sure they knew what equipment was available, that they didn’t pull any muscles during the rating, and most importantly to make sure they always felt welcome.
